Jen Wade
Jen Wade is a visual artist and painter, living in Co Waterford.
Jen Wade is a painter, visual artist, and a studio member of GOMA Waterford. Her painting practice explores the interior landscapes of lived experience, with a particular focus on the body as a site of transformation, memory and emotional complexity.
Her recent work engages with pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood, responding to the physical and psychological shifts of matrescence. Working in the immediacy of these experiences, she examines states of expansion and fragility, the disorientation of altered time, and the fragmentation and re-formation of self.
