Niamh Twomey

Niamh Twomey (b.1994) is an emerging artist based in Waterford, Ireland. Her ongoing body of work explores painting in formless manner to enable the exploration of painting and interpretation.
Her highly textured paintings evoke sensory memory and asks the viewer the engage with them, to use their own experiences and memories in interpreting the work.
Twomey has exhibited in the Hunt Musuem and the Sailor’s Home in Limerick, and the Tramore Coastguard Centre, Waterford.
Twomey graduated with a BA in Fine Art, Painting, from Limerick School of Art and Design in 2016, and a MA in Interdisciplinary Design Practice in 2023.
