Over a 12 hour workshop (two hours each Wednesday for six weeks) Seamus O’ Brien, Studio Artist, GOMA, will work with students to develop an essential part of every artist’s portfolio, the sketchbook. Using a variety of materials and methods the students will quickly build a strong foundation for their future artworks.
The sketchbook will be as much a reference guide, as it will be an experimental starting point for ideas.
Seamus O’Brien holds a B.A. (Honours) in Visual Art from Waterford Institute of Technology and is currently doing an M.A. in Art & Process in Crawford College of Art & Design, Cork.
Cost €65 per person.
